About Me

My name is Alexander Schlenga. I grew up nearby and in the city of Karlsruhe. Since October 2024 I'm a doctoral candidate in informatics at the Technical University of Munich. I like to play chess and am an active player of my home club SF Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, located near Karlsruhe.

Scientific Work

• I wrote my master's thesis on Online Coalition Formation for Fractional Hedonic Games.
• For a lab course I implemented a basic termination analysis for the static analyzer goblint together with other students. A related paper which mentions me in the acknowledgements has been published at TACAS 2024.
• For the application process of my university's master program I wrote a short scientific essay (PDF) in German on the topic of whether machines can think. That was still before the rise of publicly accessible LLMs.
• My bachelor's thesis is called Bounding Transition Systems' Diameters Using QBF and has been advised by Mohammad Abdulaziz.
• For an undergraduate course during my studies I explained the conflict-driven clause learning algorithm in a seminar write-up (PDF).
